MVC: The beginning of all learning, starts with saying "I don't know"

MVC: The beginning of all learning, starts with saying "I don't know"

ColdBox Developers Week July 23rd-27th

I presented the very first presentation of the very first ever ColdBox Developers Week!  My topic is basic. Understanding MVC. But is it basic after all?

MVC is ubiquitous.  Everybody knows about it, everybody has heard of it.  So you may be embarrassed to admit you don't fully understand it.  Sure, it stands for Model, View, Controller, DUH!! But what does that mean, what really goes in the controller?  What goes in the model?  If those principles get fuzzy for you, don't feel alone.  Do you think uber blogger Ben Nadel is "wicked smart?" The answer is, yes!  Ben is a very smart, accomplished programmer, yet even he freely admits he has a hard time understanding MVC.  I say this not to shame him, but to praise him.  The beginning of all learning, starts with saying "I don't know"

All that being said, here is a link to my ColdBox Developers Week Presentation on MVC:
